About Masquerade!
Masquerade is a stage school based in Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield for boys and girls aged between 4 and 18. Children who attend enjoy the three musical theatre strands: singing, dancing and acting. The company produces two annual shows; one variety show and one musical. Both are performed at significant public venues in the Sutton Coldfield area.
We are currently working on a variety show which will be performed in Autumn 2009. This is likely to be shown at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall – our most recent musicals at this venue, Annie and Guys and Dolls, were big successes. We are also planning a Christmas concert to raise money for charity.
We meet at a local school every Saturday morning. The 4 – 7 age range meet first, followed by the older 8+ group. The aim of our sessions is to learn dance, drama and vocal skills – whilst having fun!
